A native of Northern Mexico, Chef Madrid has spent over three decades refining his craft, blending the vibrant flavors of Latin America with influences from French haute cuisine, fine Italian cooking, and modern Mexican dishes.
His illustrious career includes leading roles at some of the most prestigious kitchens in the Southwest, including The Phoenician Resort & Spa and the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort, where he elevated dining experiences with his innovative approach to Mediterranean cuisine. Chef Madrid’s culinary journey has taken him around the globe, from New York City and Puerto Rico to Morocco and Peru, earning him recognition and accolades in high-profile international events.
